About Shawn Dalton-Smith

A dreamer. That’s how I would describe myself. Come to think of it, that’s how most people would describe me. It’s one of the reasons I fell in love with paranormal romances. I live in Atlanta, Ga, with the man of my dreams. We met in Korea while serving in the armed forces and after a two month courtship, got married. We’ve been together 3 plus decades, have three wonderful children, and 6 grand babies.

Since I experienced a whirlwind romance, I developed an appreciation for stories that featured them. Romances and love stories. I love that moment when the book ends and I get my “sigh” moment. The HEA (happily ever after). I know not all the love stories I read will have an HEA ending, some will have a happily for now. Some may even end on a sad note. But I prefer the HEA. That’s when I started writing romance novels. I wanted to write the kind of books I love to read.

But I wanted my books to have something more. That’s where my dreams come in. I’ve always been a vivid dreamer. Most of my stories are based on them. I love a good, original paranormal.
